Whelped May 4, 2009
Ruger ran
his first Derby in March 2010 (at 10 ½ months) and got a JAM.
Since then he did very well in the Derbies and has 23
Derby points.
Ruger is
very intense on the line and goes hard on both marks and blinds,
but he is
very tractable and willing to work with his handler.
In training, he is doing retired marks and All-age
caliber land and water blinds.

Phoenix: JAM

Chesapeake: 4th
Samish: 1st
Ruger
started in the Qualifying as soon as he aged out of the Derby.
He
is now out of the Qualifying since he has won 3 Qualifying stakes at:
Southeast Washington Retriever
fall 2011
Phoenix Retriever Club winter
2012
San Diego Retriever Club winter 2012 (closed before Phoenix trial)
Now
we have to play with the big boys!
